How to Read Your Tire Size:

Every tyre features a combination of numbers and letters, as shown in the example above, which helps you identify its size. Here's how to decode it, as demonstrated in the image above:

  1. 235: This number represents the width of the tire in millimeters (235mm).
  2. 50: The second number is the aspect ratio, which indicates the tire's section height as a percentage of its section width. In this case, 50 means the height is 50% of the width.
  3. R18: The "R" signifies radial ply construction (the most common type of tire construction). The number 18 indicates the diameter of the wheel rim in inches (18 inches).
